Responsibilities Prepare a variety of food items efficiently and accurately, following established recipes and safety guidelines. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders, handle cash transactions, and manage sales with precision. Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, upselling menu items, and addressing inquiries professionally. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in food prep areas, dining spaces, and throughout the restaurant to ensure food safety compliance. Assist with food handling duties including bussing tables, stocking supplies, and ensuring food quality meets company standards. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service while upholding accuracy in cashiering and food preparation. Support team members by collaborating on tasks such as food plating, cleaning, and restocking to keep operations running smoothly. Requirements Previous experience in food preparation or food service environments such as cafés, quick service restaurants, or retail food outlets is preferred. Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with guests. Basic math skills for cash handling, register operations, and retail math calculations. Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Experience with cashiering, upselling menu items, and managing sales transactions confidently.
