Earn $1,250
  • 1,500+ per week in a hands-on kitchen leadership role where you stay on the line, lead the team, and help drive daily BOH operations.
We are hiring a full-time Lead Line Cook for a busy, well-established neighborhood restaurant in South Jersey, located in Eastampton, NJ, with strong volume, a loyal local following, and a supportive BOH culture. This is not a back-office Kitchen Manager role. This is for an experienced cook who leads from the line, helps train the team, and keeps service moving smoothly during busy lunch and dinner service. Compensation $1,250
  • 1,500+ weekly average earnings Paid weekly Paid time off Quarterly bonus opportunities (after initial period) Employee dining discounts Free parking Schedule Full-time 5 days per week Approximately 50-55 hours weekly Nights and weekends required About the Restaurant This is a long-standing, family-owned neighborhood restaurant located in Eastampton, NJ, with a strong local reputation and steady year-round business.
The kitchen is known for fresh seafood, steaks, sautéed dishes, and high-volume service built on consistency, teamwork, and strong standards. Ownership is present, the team is supportive, and the kitchen culture values professionalism, communication, and respect. Responsibilities Lead line execution during busy lunch and dinner service Prepare seafood, steaks, sautéed dishes, and tavern favorites with consistency Oversee ordering, receiving, inventory, and vendor communication Maintain recipe accuracy, food quality, and portion control Train and support a 5-10 person kitchen team Maintain food safety, sanitation, and kitchen organization Keep service moving efficiently during high-volume shifts Support a respectful, guest-focused kitchen culture Qualifications BOH leadership experience as Lead Line Cook, Sous Chef, Kitchen Lead, or similar Strong scratch kitchen and recipe execution skills Experience working hands-on in high-volume service Experience with ordering, inventory, and vendor management Strong sauté and hot line experience preferred Food safety certification preferred (ServSafe a plus) Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for long shifts Reliable transportation and stable work history What Makes This Role Attractive Leadership role without stepping away from the kitchen High weekly earnings with consistent hours Stable full-time schedule with steady volume Supportive ownership and respectful BOH culture Long-term growth opportunity for the right candidate How to Apply Apply with a resume and two professional references (supervisor email addresses are required).
