Drive outbound sales efforts to grow private dining and event revenue across multiple restaurant concepts and markets, with a focus on corporate, social, brand, and high-profile client segments Identify untapped opportunities in each market and develop tailored sales strategies, promotional packages, seasonal offerings, and partnership initiatives to increase bookings Build, manage, and actively convert a strong pipeline of event clients while meeting or exceeding revenue goals and providing accurate monthly and quarterly forecasts Create and implement a cohesive multi-market event sales strategy, including pricing guidelines, capacity standards, menu frameworks, service models, and revenue optimization practices Oversee the full event lifecycle from initial inquiry and proposal through contracting, planning, execution, and post-event follow-up, ensuring a seamless and elevated guest experience Partner cross-functionally with Culinary, Operations, Marketing, and Finance to develop event menus, collateral, campaigns, pricing strategies, and execution standards that align with concepts Build scalable processes, SOPs, sales tools, and training resources for restaurant leadership and event teams to support consistent private dining execution across markets Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing events team, fostering strong relationships with GMs, chefs, and market leaders while serving as the escalation point for VIP and high-profile clientsBackground Profile:
7+ years of event sales leadership experience in upscale or fine dining restaurant hospitality, ideally in a Director-level or comparable role overseeing multi-market or multi-city operations Proven success driving significant event sales revenue, ideally with prior responsibility for approximately $6M+ in annual event sales volume and demonstrated growing outbound sales Established network and book of business within the NYC and/or Washington, D.C. markets required; Miami and Chicago relationships are a plus Experience managing, coaching, and developing event sales managers, coordinators, or similar team members in a fast-paced, hospitality-driven environment Advanced financial, analytical, and technical skills, including proficiency with forecasting, revenue modeling, margins, pricing, sales reporting, CRM platforms, event management software, Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, shared-drive tools, and event documentation Exceptional organizational, client-facing, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple events, clients, priorities, and markets while supporting VIP and high-profile clients with professionalism and discretion Collaborative and service-oriented, with the ability to partner effectively with Culinary, Operations, Marketing, Finance, and leadership teams Local Candidates Only - Must currently reside in the NYC area and be able to work in-officeEOE - EQUAL OPPORTUNITY
