Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Lead Ice Cream Scooper to join our vibrant team! In this dynamic role, you will be the face of our ice cream shop, leading by example in delivering exceptional customer service while expertly managing daily operations. As a key leader on the floor, you'll ensure smooth service flow, uphold sanitation standards, and drive sales through upselling delicious treats. Duties Oversee daily ice cream scooping operations, ensuring quick and accurate service for all customers Lead by example in food handling, sanitation, and food safety practices to maintain high standards Assist customers with menu selections, upselling additional toppings or treats to enhance their experience Manage cash handling using POS systems such as Spot On POS or Toast POS with accuracy and efficiency Supervise team members, providing coaching on food preparation, customer service, and sales techniques Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and equipment including bussing tables and sanitizing surfaces Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ice cream flavors, toppings, and supplies Requirements Proven experience in food preparation and food service within quick service or fast-food restaurants Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS; previous cashiering or cash handling experience preferred Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell and promote products confidently Excellent time management skills to handle high-volume periods efficiently Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting supplies or cleaning equipment Basic math skills for cash transactions and retail math for inventory management Join us as a Lead Ice Cream Scooper where your enthusiasm fuels our success!
