Shift Lead

Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and motivated Shift Lead to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced, quick service restaurant environment. As a Shift Lead, you will be the driving force behind daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining food quality standards, and supervising team members to deliver a seamless dining experience. Duties Oversee daily restaurant operations during assigned shifts, ensuring smooth workflow and high-quality service. Lead and motivate team members by providing clear direction, training, and support to foster a positive work environment. Ensure food preparation and cooking meet safety standards and quality expectations, adhering to food safety regulations. Manage POS (Point of Sale) systems

for accurate order processing and cash handling. Control inventory levels by monitoring stock, conducting regular inventory checks, and assisting with food management procedures. Supervise food handling practices, ensuring compliance with health codes and sanitation standards. Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to guarantee customer satisfaction. Assist with staff interviewing, training & development initiatives, and performance evaluations. Support budgeting efforts by managing labor costs and minimizing waste during your shift. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas throughout your shift. Qualifications Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen management within a quick service or fast food restaurant setting. Demonstrated supervisory or team management experience in hospitality or restaurant environments.

Familiarity with POS systems:

cash handling experience is essential. Strong knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and food handling procedures. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally. Prior experience in managing inventory control, food production, and food industry operations preferred. Leadership qualities with the ability to train staff effectively and foster teamwork. 4 years Experience in Quick Service Restaurant; catering experience is beneficial. Seasonal Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
