This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing daily food service operations, maintaining regulatory compliance, managing staff, and ensuring residents receive high-quality meals and nutritional services. The ideal candidate understands the skilled nursing environment and can balance resident satisfaction, department efficiency, and survey readiness. Key Responsibilities Oversee all dietary and food service operations within the facility Ensure compliance with state, federal, and sanitation regulations Manage kitchen staff schedules, performance, and daily workflow Monitor food quality, meal service, and resident satisfaction Maintain inventory, ordering, and department cost controls Collaborate with Nursing and the Registered Dietitian to meet residents' nutritional needs Support survey readiness and respond to dietary-related compliance matters Qualifications Prior Food Services Director experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred Strong knowledge of dietary regulations, sanitation standards, and food safety practices Experience managing kitchen staff and department operations Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) preferred but not required What's Being Offered Competitive compensation aligned with experience Stable leadership environment Supportive interdisciplinary team Opportunity for long-term growth within the organization IND789
