First Shift,Second Shift,Third Shift,Weekend,After School About the Role As a Shift Leader, you will embark on an exciting entry-level management journey, taking charge of crucial restaurant operations and team supervision during your shifts. This role is instrumental in ensuring exceptional service delivery and operational excellence, directly contributing to our restaurant's success and upholding our brand standards. Key Responsibilities Oversee and manage all restaurant activities, including front-of-house and back-of-house operations, in the absence of the General Manager. Strategically collaborate with the Management Team to implement and uphold business plans, operational strategies, and company policies. Lead, coach, and motivate team members to achieve peak performance, ensuring all job responsibilities are met and customer service expectations are exceeded. Monitor and maintain adherence to food safety standards, hygiene protocols, and operational procedures to guarantee a safe and clean environment for both customers and staff. Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally, fostering a positive dining experience. Manage inventory, cash handling, and daily reporting as required, contributing to efficient and accurate financial operations. Facilitate effective communication among team members and with the management team, ensuring smooth transitions between shifts. Required Qualifications Proven experience in a customer service or hospitality environment, demonstrating a strong understanding of operational flow. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a diverse team. Demonstrated capacity for problem-solving and decision-making in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as business needs dictate. Basic proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems and general computer applications. High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a restaurant or retail setting. Certifications in food safety (e.g., ServSafe) or related hospitality training. A passion for the culinary industry and a desire to grow within a dynamic organization.
