• Overnight Shift Help Create Safety, Stability, and Recovery For more than 100 years, Rescue Mission of Trenton has provided hope, recovery, and support to individuals and families in the Trenton community.

We are a nonprofit organization serving people experiencing homelessness, substance use disorders, and behavioral health challenges through shelter, recovery programs, and supportive services. Behavioral Health Center The Behavioral Health Center at Rescue Mission of Trenton is a state-licensed addiction treatment facility offering residential, halfway house, and outpatient services. We provide compassionate, recovery-focused care that helps individuals overcome substance use and co-occurring challenges while building skills for long-term stability and independence. Services include counseling, peer recovery support, medical and mental health care, medication-assisted treatment, recovery meetings, life skills, and employment readiness support. Position Summary The Overnight Peer Recovery Team Leader plays a key role in maintaining safety, structure, and recovery support during overnight hours. This position leads peer staff, monitors client well-being, and supports a stable, trauma-informed environment. Key Responsibilities Conduct and oversee overnight rounds to ensure client safety Monitor high-risk clients, including new admissions and early withdrawal Support and assign overnight peer staff Respond to behavioral, medical, and safety incidents Complete engagement notes and end-of-shift reporting Maintain a structured, recovery-focused environment Schedule & Pay Full-Time
