Job Description

Summary Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe is seeking a Seasonal Food & Beverage Supervisor to support our Restaurant operations during the summer season. This role helps oversee daily poolside service and leads the team during assigned shifts to ensure smooth operations and excellent guest experiences. The supervisor plays a key role in maintaining service standards, supporting team members, and ensuring efficient service in a high-volume outdoor environment.
Position Details Seasonal role:
May - September Full availability required during peak summer season (including weekends and holidays) Key Responsibilities Guest Service & Operations Support daily food and beverage operations. Ensure prompt and attentive service in line with Hyatt standards. Monitor service flow and assist during peak periods. Address guest concerns and escalate when needed. Maintain cleanliness and safety throughout the pool area. Team Leadership Supervise servers, bartenders, and support staff during shifts. Provide direction and support to ensure smooth operations. Assist with onboarding and training new colleagues. Promote strong communication and teamwork. Operational Support Assist with opening and closing procedures. Support inventory and organization of supplies. Ensure compliance with food safety and alcohol service standards. Communicate operational needs to management. Qualifications Qualifications Previous restaurant or supervisory experience preferred. Strong communication and guest service skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced outdoor environment. Knowledge of food safety practices. Flexible availability.
