Job Description

The Kitchen Coordinator for Senior Nutrition is responsible for senior nutrition operations, working in conjunction with other staff to encourage teamwork, teambuilding, and leadership. Responsibilities include Food Safety and Quality, Planning and Production, Purchasing and Inventory Control, Budgeting, Staffing/Supervision, Facilities and Equipment. This position requires supervision of staff, direct client contact, program planning and development, service delivery, day-to-day operations, and reporting responsibilities within a balanced budget. Ideal skills Experience in a commercial kitchen including cooking, food safety knowledge and ordering of ingredients. Budget management and cost control Attention to details, ability to manage staff, multi-tasking, and customer service. Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent to 3-5 years' experience in related field of work. The ideal candidate must have a driver's license, meeting agency standards and consistent, reliable transportation that will allow regular travel in and around the service area.
