Full Job Description Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Beverage Supervisor to join our team. As the Beverage Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our bar, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maximizing profitability. Responsibilities:

• Serves as a beverage resource for the team by maintaining comprehensive knowledge of all beer, wine, cocktail, and non-alcoholic beverage offerings. Assists with training, provides ongoing coaching, and supports Team Members by answering beverage-related questions and ensuring accurate service standards during peak business periods.
• Train and supervise bar staff, ensuring they provide excellent customer service and adhere to company policies and procedures
• Maintains aspects of the bar operations, including inventory and maintaining stock levels
• Open the bar at least two days per week, handling tasks including bar cleaning, prep, and setup for service.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
• Handle customer complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
• Collaborate with the kitchen staff to coordinate food service for events or special promotions
• Utilize Toast POS system to process transactions accurately

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a bar supervisor or similar role in the hospitality industry
• Strong knowledge of beverage trends, mixology techniques, and drink recipes
• Excellent time management skills to effectively prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to drive revenue growth
• Experience in catering or event planning is a plus
• Proficient in retail math calculations for inventory management and cost control
• Knowledge of food handling safety standards
• Familiarity with cash register operations and cash handling procedures
• Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating a positive guest experience
