Company Overview Hillside Manor Rehabilitation & Extended Care is a well-established healthcare facility dedicated to providing compassionate and respectful care to residents since 1975. Our center is conveniently located with accessible transportation options and offers a supportive environment focused on promoting independence and well-being. Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Food Service Supervisor to oversee daily food service operations within our facility. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality meals, maintain safety standards, and lead a dedicated team to provide exceptional dining experiences for our residents and staff.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervisor and coordinator staff including cooks and dietary aides to ensure efficient operations and adherence to standards. Monitor food preparation and service to maintain quality, portion control, and presentation standards. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including sanitation protocol and foo safety standards. Manage inventory and supplies, including ordering, stock tracking and minimizing waste. Train and develop employees, providing ongoing guidance and performance evaluations. Coordinate schedule to ensure adequate staffing. Skills Proven experience in food service management. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen management. Knowledge of food safety protocols, dietary restrictions, and sanitation procedures to ensure compliance.
Pay:
$28.00 - $29.00 per hour
