Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Catering Captain to lead our catering service team with enthusiasm and professionalism. In this role, you will oversee daily catering operations, coordinate food preparation and delivery, and ensure exceptional customer service at every event. Your leadership will inspire your team to deliver memorable culinary experiences while maintaining high standards of food safety, quality, and efficiency. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate all aspects of catering events, including setup, service, and cleanup to ensure seamless execution. Lead food preparation activities, ensuring dishes meet quality standards and are delivered on time. Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste. Oversee cash handling procedures using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to ensure accuracy and accountability. Train and develop staff members in food handling, customer service, safety protocols, and operational procedures. Oversee shift management by assigning tasks, supervising team members, and ensuring efficient workflow during busy periods. Maintain compliance with food safety regulations and uphold high standards of cleanliness and sanitation across all catering operations. Requirements Proven experience in food service management within a quick service or fast food restaurant environment. Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management. Demonstrated leadership skills with supervising experience in hospitality or restaurant settings. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for cash handling and order processing. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to manage client expectations professionally. Knowledge of inventory control, food safety standards, and food handling best practices. Previous experience in catering, banquet events, or hotel food service is highly desirable. $27.00 - $35.00 per hour
