• Travers Island, one of the world's premier private clubs, is seeking a Seasonal Full-Time Restaurant Supervisor/Service Captain.

The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, with an eye for detail and strong people skills. Pivoting between casual, fine dining, and event/banquet settings dependent on the needs of the Club, this role is perfect for anyone with FOH supervisory experience and a commitment to excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

Supervise daily front-of-house operations. Supervise Servers, Runners/Bussers, and Hosts to ensure a top-quality, high-end dining experience for Members. Ensure that all menu items are produced to the standards set forth by Management. Ensure FOH staff are exceeding the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and quality.

Qualifications:

Previous experience at a Supervisory level or higher. Ability to work long shifts on your feet. Ability to lift at least 40lbs. Ability to work weekends and summer holidays to meet business needs .
