ABOUT THIS POSITION

The Supervisor position will be located in a higher education school setting. This person will be responsible for overseeing the daily/weekly processes and standards for the company dining services and the day-to-day operations of the commissary.

Main responsibilities will be:

Front of House cleanliness and standards, following Genuine standards for signage, leading a team to maintain health department standards, managing daily prep and ensuring all food safety & sanitation standards are being met.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Execute and help craft great daily services and special events for our clients while being mindful of client preferences, tastes and nutrition. Collaborate with the Chef and Food Service Director to ensure all health and efficiency standards are met. Complies for food safety and sanitation requirements. Assist in supervising the team, overseeing all aspects of daily food service operation & serving including culinary and operational excellence, staff/skills training, daily troubleshooting, and site cleanliness and organization. Continuously improve and propel forward visual/service aspects of operations. Must be flexible & team-oriented 2 yrs of cooking experience is a MUST ! 3+ year of hostess/front of house supervisory experience 1+ year of management experience Positive attitude, strong work ethic and level headedness. Punctual and able to adhere to the time and attendance policy. Able to climb stairs and lift up 50 lbs. Interest in and committed to Genuine Foods' mission to use food to help students enhance their minds, bodies and happiness. Must be able to work in a school environment. Must be available to work on weekends. Must speak Spanish.

Schedule:
