team! At Chick-fil-A, Team leaders are heavily involved operationally throughout the shift and are in position to offer coaching to the team and execute operational excellence. Team leaders will monitor the speed of service and guest experience and with the guidance of the Senior Shift Leaders and have the ability to problem solve and enhance the guest experience. The Team Leaders are in place to coach the trainers and team members and be dedicated to intentional care, a hardworking and fun atmosphere and that restaurant standards are being met with diligence.Responsibilities include:
Insures that Team Members follow recipes and read tickets to accurately prepare all orders. Insures that Team Members are extremely accurate with weights and measurements for all recipe items. Insures that Team Members work at a pace to maintain restaurant's established speed of service guidelines. Can effectively create line-ups and manage breaks. Assist BOH Team with kitchen cleanliness, food safety and inventory management. Leads through some opening/closing of the restaurant. Takes Ownership of the restaurants vision and values and encourages the trainers and team member on tools to do the same. Participate in Safe Daily Critical(s), ERQAs, and Equipment Temperature Checks while immediately correcting identified issues. Invests in the development of trainers and team members and set an example. Hold the Team accountable to ensure that Hospitality Standards, 2nd Mile Service, Core 4 and Values are being exceeded. Can handle and problem solve basic CARES as well as any in restaurant guest issues. Continuously Coaches and trains Trainers and Team Members. Always exhibits Intentional Care to the Team and our guests and strives for operational excellence. Growth of the leadership team. Who is going to fill the next seat? Holds the Team Accountable for Policy Standards, Timeliness, grooming, cellphones, uniforms, etc. Can effectively evaluate areas of service "hot spots" that may need shifting to improve the speed of service and guest experience.
