The superintendent is Mr. Michael Pullen.
The district operates three schools:
North Rose-Wolcott High School, Leavenworth Middle School, and North Rose Elementary School. This position is responsible for supporting and coordinating daily food service operations throughout the district. Duties include staff support and coverage, ordering and inventory coordination, POS system management, invoice processing, catering coordination, and assisting with operational needs across buildings. The employee works closely with the Food Service Director to ensure efficient operations and compliance with district, state, and federal regulations. The position requires flexibility, independent judgment, and the ability to respond to changing operational needs. Supervision of food service personnel may be required as assigned. Typical Duties Assists with daily supervision and operational support of district food service programs Provides staffing coverage, including cook and cook manager duties when needed Maintains accurate POS and operational data Prepares food and supply orders using menu planning software and order guides Assists with inventory coordination and movement of supplies between buildings Organizes invoices and supporting documentation for review by the Food Service Director Prepares catering quotes, invoices, and electronic records using Google Workspace Maintains organized electronic and paper department records Travels between district buildings to support operations and staffing needs Assists with receiving, transporting, and storing food and supplies Communicates effectively with staff, vendors, administrators, and district personnel Adapts to changing schedules and operational demands Knowledge, Skills, and Requirements Knowledge of school food service operations and procedures Ability to use POS systems, Google Workspace, Microsoft applications, and ordering systems Ability to supervise and collaborate effectively with staff Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to prioritize tasks and respond to changing operational needs Ability to travel independently between district buildings Ability to perform moderate to heavy physical work, including lifting and moving supplies Dependability, flexibility, and initiative Acceptable Experience and Training Completion of high school and either two years of responsible experience in the preparation or service of food, on a moderately large scale; or completion of an approved course in food service management; or any equivalent combination of experience and training.
