Role Overview We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Area Operations Supervisor to lead a group of restaurant locations within the region. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, improving profitability, supporting restaurant leadership teams, and ensuring each location delivers an exceptional guest experience. The Area Operations Supervisor oversees performance across assigned restaurants, implements business strategies, strengthens staffing and development, and fosters a culture of accountability, consistency, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities LMA:
Lead, manage, and hold restaurant leadership teams accountable across the assigned patch. Manage a patch of three restaurants, ensuring consistent performance, operational success, and execution of company standards across all locations. Drive profitability through operational excellence, effective cost control, and strong profit-and-loss management. Monitor key performance indicators and create action plans to improve sales, service, staffing, food safety, and guest satisfaction. Provide leadership, coaching, and guidance to store managers to ensure operational standards and business objectives are met. Oversee staffing and development, including hiring, training, retention, performance reviews, coaching sessions, and management development. Ensure food safety, health and safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies are consistently followed. Develop and execute strategic plans to enhance sales performance, customer satisfaction, and community engagement. Lead process improvement initiatives to optimize workflows, reduce waste, and increase efficiency. Support project management efforts related to new store openings, renovations, technology upgrades, transitions, or special projects. Collaborate with corporate support teams to implement best practices and operational initiatives. Work closely with Director of Operations on Brand Standards, labor, food cost, and scheduling Uphold building and property standards for each restaurant Assist with coverage and support for other patches as needed, including during absences, transitions, or special projects. Skills and Requirements Strong leadership, management, communication, and coaching skills. Ability to motivate teams, build accountability, and foster a positive work environment. Strong understanding of profit-and-loss management, cost control, and operational performance. Strategic planning skills with the ability to create actionable plans aligned with business goals. Sales-focused mindset with the ability to analyze data and implement effective improvement strategies. Business development acumen, including the ability to identify growth opportunities within the market. Project management skills to support initiatives from planning through completion. Process improvement knowledge to streamline operations and enhance productivity.
