Shift Supervisor - 2nd

DIRECT HIRE OPPORTUNITY
•Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Shift Supervisor to lead daily operations and personnel on 2nd shift for our client in Bedford. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for ensuring productivity, quality, safety, and employee engagement while meeting operational goals. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with excellent communication and problem-solving skills who thrives in a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Supervise, coach, and support employees to achieve daily production goals. Assign work, monitor performance, and maintain adequate staffing levels. Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and safety regulations. Troubleshoot operational issues and coordinate solutions to minimize downtime. Monitor inventory levels and complete shift reports and documentation. Train new employees and support ongoing workforce development. Address employee concerns and promote a positive, team-oriented work environment. Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiency. Qualifications Previous supervisory, team lead, or manufacturing leadership experience required. Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Ability to read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics. Knowledge of AC/DC circuits, control panels, and industrial troubleshooting preferred. Experience with 110V, 220V, and 480V three-phase electrical systems is a plus. Experience with Revit, Inventor, or similar design software is beneficial. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and lead a team effectively. High school diploma or GED required; additional education is a plus. Ability to pass a preemployment screening
Salary:
$60,000 - $75,000 per year
