Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Kitchen Lead to oversee daily kitchen operations in a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong culinary skills, leadership qualities, and a comprehensive understanding of food safety and management. As a Kitchen Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality food preparation, maintaining efficient kitchen workflows, supervising staff, and delivering exceptional customer service. This role offers an opportunity to lead a team within a vibrant hospitality setting, ensuring operational excellence and guest satisfaction. Responsibilities Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service delivery. Oversee food production, ensuring quality standards are met consistently. Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste. Maintain compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards. Train and develop team members on food handling, safety procedures, and customer service protocols. Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and cash handling. Assist with shift management, including scheduling staff coverage and overseeing daily operations. Coordinate with front-of-house teams to ensure seamless restaurant operations. Monitor kitchen cleanliness and organization to uphold health standards. Support budgeting efforts by managing food costs and minimizing waste. Experience Proven experience in food preparation, kitchen management, or supervisory roles within quick service or fast food restaurants. Strong background in POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS. Experience with inventory control, food safety practices, and cost management. Previous management or leadership experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is highly desirable. Familiarity with fine dining, casual dining, banquet, catering, or hotel food service environments is a plus. Demonstrated ability to train staff effectively and lead teams confidently. Knowledge of culinary techniques, food handling regulations, and hospitality management principles. This role is ideal for candidates passionate about culinary excellence, team leadership, and delivering memorable guest experiences in a professional kitchen environment.
