Position will provide both strategic and tactical guidance, training and development of restaurant staff, and ensure operations follow all brand standards and guidelines. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Possess interpersonal skills that will allow the effective candidate to manage, coach, develop, and motivate facility management and staff. Direct and manage overall operations of restaurants through on-site visits and analysis of reports. Ensure assigned area achieves financial commitments and guest satisfaction standards. Analyze key performance indicators in all areas of field operations to include sales, food cost, expenses, and labor in order to assess and create a strategy for the region. Plan, lead, and execute operational initiatives, monitor progress, measure results, and provide feedback to region. Lead and coach GM's and their teams directly. Positive development of restaurant operations through strategic and tactical direction. Ensure that all standards and guidelines are adhered to including service, product preparation, sales, guest relations, safety & security, marketing and team development Identify, improve, and maintain the financial management of the area of operations to deliver and meet/exceed targeted goals. Monitor all capital expenditures, analyze systems and procedures for continual improvement, and provide direction to increase sales and profitability. Interface with field staff to provide mentorship and training, ensure best practices are consistently adhered to, and implement any brand / franchisee operational changes. Job Requirements HS diploma or equivalent. AS/BS degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred; 3 - 5 years of operational management experience in the Quick Serve Restaurant or related industry. Multi-unit restaurant experience preferred; Ideal candidate will have restaurant operational experience with progressive increase in areas of responsibilities; Ability to travel throughout assigned area; Basic to Intermediate MS Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) skills a must. Previous experience with POS, Time & Attendance, HR field programs a must; Thorough knowledge industry regulations, guidelines, and practices required; Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion; Self-motivated with ability to prioritize and meet deadlines and work in a high energy, fast paced, ever changing environment; Excellent written and oral communications skills; Excellent organizational skills with an emphasis on customer service; Experience in a high volume, multi-seasonal environment a must. Must be able to work over-time and/or off schedule hours as necessary; Strong problem-solving skills and ability to react quickly to resolve problems; Self-motivated, positive attitude, high-energy individual who can multitask well; Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with others toward mutual objectives and able to influence across non-direct reports on cross functional teams; Continuous improvement mindset with the ability and desire to develop creative solutions to problems and continuously improve systems and processes.
