This role involves overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of banquets and special events within a fine dinning setting. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of food service management, and a passion for providing outstanding customer service. As a key member of our management team, you will ensure that all events run smoothly, efficiently, and to the highest standards of quality and hospitality. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate all aspects of banquet and event operations, including setup, service, and breakdown. Collaborate with management to understand their needs, preferences, and special requests to deliver personalized event experiences. Manage staff assignments, training, and development to ensure a well-trained and motivated team. Oversee set up, break down, presentation, and service to maintain high standards of quality, safety, and hygiene. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures across all events. Handle cash transactions accurately through POS systems and manage billing processes. Maintain effective communication with all departments to ensure seamless event execution. Conduct staff training sessions on customer service excellence, food safety protocols, and operational procedures. Address guest concerns promptly to uphold high levels of customer satisfaction. Experience Proven supervisory or management experience within the food service industry or hospitality management environment. Extensive background in banquet operations, catering, or event planning with a focus on fine dining or casual dining experiences. Demonstrated skills in staff training, team management, and leadership within fast-paced restaurant or hotel settings. Experience handling cash transactions accurately while maintaining excellent customer service standards. Strong understanding of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures. Excellent communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively across departments. Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
