Job Description:

The Hourly Shift Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a specific shift in a restaurant or retail establishment. They are responsible for ensuring that all employees are performing their duties correctly and efficiently, and that customers are satisfied with their experience.

Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate the activities of employees during a specific shift Ensure that all employees are performing their duties correctly and efficiently Train new employees and provide ongoing training to existing employees Ensure that all customers are satisfied with their experience Handle customer complaints and resolve any issues that arise Ensure that all equipment is in good working order and report any issues to management Ensure that all safety and sanitation procedures are followed Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent Prior supervisory experience in a restaurant or retail establishment preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions quickly
