As a Kitchen Supervisor, you will play a key role in maintaining high-quality culinary standards while fostering a positive, efficient work environment that motivates your team to excel. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate all aspects of food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and quality. Manage kitchen staff by assigning tasks, monitoring performance, providing training, and fostering teamwork. Oversee food safety practices in compliance with health regulations and company policies, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures. Plan menus in collaboration with culinary teams, ensuring variety and adherence to dietary requirements. Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock to minimize waste while maintaining freshness. Ensure smooth shift management by coordinating schedules, overseeing daily operations, and resolving any issues promptly. Maintain a clean, organized kitchen environment that meets safety standards and promotes efficiency. Collaborate with restaurant management to deliver excellent customer service and address guest feedback effectively. Experience Proven supervising experience within the food industry or hospitality management roles. Extensive knowledge of food production techniques, cooking methods, and food preparation processes. Strong background in food safety standards, sanitation practices, and dietary considerations such as catering or banquet experience. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members in a fast-paced setting. Familiarity with restaurant or kitchen management systems, shift scheduling, and food service operations. Experience working in diverse culinary environments including catering, hospitality departments, or restaurant settings. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence and team collaboration.
