  • A lover of PIZZA!The Kitchen Lead oversees food production in the pizzeria kitchen. They organize kitchen processes to maintain high quality, safety, efficiency, and profitability. They train and manage the kitchen team in a manner that meets the objectives set forth by management. Supervisory Role
  • Train and develop department staff as necessary to accomplish consistent high quality product
  • Effectively manage through clear, direct, and respectful communications
  • Promote communication in the kitchen that leads to a productive and safe working environment
  • Conduct coaching sessions and work with staff individually to meet specific needs
  • Ensure that kitchen equipment is in working order and is properly used
  • Ensure closing, opening and deep clean protocols set by management are being met
  • Set goals and take corrective action as needed
  • Take initiative and be productive at all times, including slow periods
  • Strive for continuous improvement
  • Additional duties as assigned by the management teamKitchen Role
  • Be cross trained on all kitchen roles and responsibilities to support when needed
  • Have a working knowledge of products and services the entire store offers
  • Cook pizzas, salads, sandwiches, and appetizers that satisfy our customers expectations
  • Lead and work along side your team during peak business hours
  • Package pizzas and present all food beautifully
  • Follow all relevant food health and safety requirements
  • Comply with health and safety regulations for production, holding, handling, and labelingPhysical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods of standing and walking
  • Must be able to lift, carry, and place up to 50 pounds at a time
  • Must be able to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays as needed
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, and wipe frequently
  • Must be able to work in a warm/hot environment near the ovens for extended periods
  • Must be available as point of contact for department call outs/schedule issues on the Managers days offPay Rate
  • $21•23 base hourly + $8•10 in tips hourly 30-40hrs
