Job Description
Overview Join our vibrant team as a Snack Bar Attendant, where you'll be the friendly face behind the counter, delivering quick, delicious snacks and beverages to our guests. You'll be responsible for preparing food, managing sales transactions, and ensuring the snack bar operates smoothly and efficiently. Duties Prepare a variety of snacks and beverages with attention to quality, cleanliness, and food safety standards Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales accurately and efficiently Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, upselling menu items, and addressing guest inquiries with enthusiasm Handle cash transactions, perform cash handling duties, and give correct change using basic math skills Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the snack bar area, including food handling, bussing tables, and restocking supplies Manage food preparation tasks quickly to meet high demand during busy periods in a quick service or fast food restaurant setting Follow all food safety regulations and sanitation procedures to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff Qualifications Previous experience in food preparation or food service roles preferred; experience in quick service or fast food environments is a plus Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS preferred Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail Basic math skills for cash handling, sales transactions, and retail math calculations Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures Experience working in a café, retail store, grocery store, or restaurant environment is highly desirable Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude ready to serve guests with energy and enthusiasm Join us in creating memorable moments for our guests through exceptional snack bar service!
