Description:
The Shift Supervisor at Barchemy LLC plays a critical role in overseeing daily production activities across all three primary zones: Batch Building & Milling (Compound Room), Depositing, and Packaging. The supervisor is responsible for ensuring operational excellence, employee safety, product quality, and adherence to production schedules while fostering a positive and accountable team culture. Work Schedule Full-time; rotating shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by production demand. Key Responsibilities Manage shift operations to achieve production goals for output, efficiency, and quality. Lead shift huddles, assign roles, and verify staffing coverage. Ensure GMPT, SOP, and safety compliance. Trac downtime, support process improvements, and communicate with leadership. Collaborate with Maintenance, Quality, and R&D; for trials and issue resolution.
Requirements:
Qualifications 3+ years manufacturing experience, 1+ year leadership role (food manufacturing preferred). High school diploma or equivalent; technical leadership certifications a plus. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and production reporting tools. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Achievement of daily/weekly production targets. Downtime reduction and root cause closure rate. Employee retention and engagement. Quality and safety compliance metrics.
