Shift Operations Lead - Second Shift

Position Summary The Shift Operations Lead will work closely with the Distribution Supervisor to direct the daily workflow and to assign tasks to warehouse staff. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Duties include but are not limited to the following: Direct work flow as dictated by daily work load Assign daily operational priorities with the help of Distribution Supervisor Ensure best practices are followed by shift staff Enforce safety policies on the floor Training and follow up for new staff Work closely with Distribution Supervisor to direct staff to assigned tasks Perform the duties of a Warehouse Associate, when necessary Other duties as assigned Required Skills and Abilities To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing for much of the day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds and be able to stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The employee is regularly required to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, telephone, copy machine, and printer. Some movements of the hands, arms, and wrists may involve repetitive motions. Specific vision abilities required by this job include the ability to detect, determine, perceive, identify, recognize, judge, observe, inspect, estimate, and assess various activities and surroundings.

Cognitive/Mental Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to comprehend and use basic language, either written or spoken, to communicate simple and complex information, ideas, and information. The employee is also required to use logic to define problems, collect information, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, interpret information, and deal with abstract variables for unique or unfamiliar situations. Work Environment:

This position is primarily performed in a warehouse and office with varying degrees of temperatures.
