$25.00 to $27.00 / hourly
Current Opening:
Full-time Hours may vary by shift — between morning and evening Part of a dining-leadership weekend rotation The Dining Services Supervisor is to manage and oversee various areas of the dining department while ensuring a high degree of quality and acting as a representative of the department at all times. This position ensures that the policies and procedures implemented within the department are being followed and modeled and promotes teamwork while providing leadership to all areas within the department. QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate's degree in Culinary Arts from an accredited program preferred. Minimum of four years of Cook/Supervisor experience in a healthcare setting. ServSafe certification strongly preferred. Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) credential preferred. Strong communication, writing, and computer skills required.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
Ensures that all food cooking and preparation temperatures are accurately maintained. Assists in the development of resident and café menus. Prepares staff schedules and attends interviews. Replaces employees where there is an opening in the schedule and/or for approved leaves. Implements special catering requests including menu preparation and function set-up. Correctly maintains temperature logs for food, refrigeration, and freezers. Maintains and instructs others to maintain a high degree of sanitation within the dining room and kitchen areas.
