Overview Join our dynamic team as a Crew Member in dairy queen - Support and become a vital part of delivering exceptional food service experiences! In this energetic role, you will support daily operations by assisting with food preparation, customer interactions, and maintaining a clean, safe environment. Responsibilities Assist with food preparation, ensuring all items meet quality standards and food safety regulations Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cashiering, and transactions Provide friendly customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest experience Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including food handling stations, dining spaces, and kitchen equipment Support food industry best practices by adhering to safety protocols, proper food handling procedures, and sanitation standards Help with bussing tables, clearing dishes, and ensuring the dining area remains tidy and inviting Manage cash handling accurately during transactions and assist with basic math calculations for sales and change Experience Prior experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurants is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Experience in cashiering, serving, or retail math will support success in this role Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques is advantageous Strong time management skills to balance multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Previous restaurant or café experience helps build a foundation for delivering excellent customer service and supporting team goals Join us to be part of an energetic team that values your contribution!
