CAREER SITE Job Duties Handles the overall operation and profitability of all food and beverage outlets, including the casino floor beverage operation, banquet events, catering and special events, all cocktail lounges, and restaurant service bars. Oversee the monitoring of food and beverage quality and presentation, to ensure food and drinks are prepared and presented in an acceptable manner. Coordinate with supervisors to ensure proper scheduling and work assignments are in alignment. Monitor budgets and payroll, including purchasing of equipment and supplies. These duties include training for the department, food and beverage control, inventory maintenance and establishment of procedures to ensure responsible, as well as efficient food and beverage service. Orders and maintains supplies, reviews set-up and food and beverage preparation and service to ensure compliance with LSOPs and SOPs, Banquet event orders, restaurant set-up, bar set-up, venue set-up, safety regulations and procedures and to ensure an optimal level of service, quality and hospitality. Understanding and monitoring/assessing performance of all team members to ensure guest service goals are exceeded. Creation of a motivated department is critical. Has the ability to extend complementary services in accordance with the approved comp matrix. Performs other related duties as assigned. Must possess excellent inter-personal skills with an ability to foster a supportive and enabling team environment. Promotes superior guest service. Minimum Qualifications Minimum three years' experience in Banquet management is required, while also having experience in the day to day operations of a multi-faceted events management or guest service oriented department. College degree preferred. Outstanding organizational skills required as well as strong written and verbal skills. Must have excellent computer skills. Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours. Must be capable of interacting with the public in a highly professional manner, including frequent public speaking.
