SSTARBIRTH
is a long-term residential substance use disorder treatment program designed for pregnant, postpartum, and parenting women. Our program provides a safe, supportive environment that promotes recovery, stability, and healthy family development. We are seeking compassionate, reliable individuals to join our team as Part-Time Residential Counselors . This role is ideal for candidates who are committed to supporting women and families on their recovery journey. Schedule 8-16 hours per week Must include weekend availability Key Responsibilities Implement and support the daily program schedule and structured activities Supervise and engage with residents and their children in a trauma-informed, respectful manner Ensure the safety, security, and well-being of residents and children at all times Monitor and document client self-administration of medications in accordance with program protocols Complete accurate and timely shift documentation and reports Maintain appropriate professional boundaries while fostering a supportive environment Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant experience in human services preferred Experience working with individuals in recovery, women, or families strongly preferred Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong observation, communication, and documentation skills Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professional ethics Why Join

Experience and Skills:
Skills/Experience:
High School Diploma or GED. Good communication skills. Ability to work independently. Crisis prevention and intervention skills preferred. Prior experience working in Residential Treatment and/or knowledge of early recovery related issues is preferred.
