The Front of House Supervisor is a hands-on hospitality leader responsible for guiding service, supporting the front-of-house team, and ensuring every shift reflects Legami's standards of warmth, professionalism, and excellence. This role leads from the dining room floor, serving as the link between the management team, kitchen, bar, and service staff while creating an environment where both guests and employees can thrive. Success in this role requires exceptional leadership, strong communication, operational awareness, and a genuine passion for hospitality. Primary ResponsibilitiesService Leadership Lead the dining room throughout service with confidence, professionalism, and composure. Maintain awareness of service flow, pacing, reservations, and table progression. Support servers, bartenders, hosts, food runners, and support staff throughout each shift. Anticipate challenges before they impact the guest experience and respond with urgency and sound judgment. Uphold Legami's standards of service, hospitality, and professionalism at all times. Ensure every guest receives attentive, personalized, and seamless service. Guest Experience Build meaningful guest connections through genuine hospitality and thoughtful engagement. Visit tables throughout service to ensure satisfaction and address concerns before they become issues. Resolve guest concerns professionally while protecting the overall dining experience. Coordinate celebrations, VIP experiences, and special requests with attention to detail. Foster an atmosphere that feels welcoming, polished, and memorable. Team Leadership & Development Lead by example through professionalism, accountability, and a positive attitude. Coach and mentor team members in real time to reinforce service standards and operational excellence. Assist with onboarding, training, and continued development of new employees. Encourage teamwork, communication, and mutual respect throughout the restaurant. Recognize outstanding performance while constructively addressing opportunities for improvement. Communicate employee performance and operational observations to the management team. Operations & Floor Management Coordinate service with the culinary and bar teams to ensure proper pacing and execution. Monitor dining room capacity, table turns, reservations, wait times, and staffing levels. Ensure side work, station organization, opening procedures, and closing responsibilities are completed to standard. Conduct daily lineups and communicate menu changes, service priorities, and operational updates. Assist in implementing company policies, service initiatives, and operational improvements. Maintain compliance with health, sanitation, and safety standards. Support inventory organization and ordering of front-of-house supplies as needed. Complete end-of-day reporting, cash reconciliation, and required documentation through the POS system and Google Workspace. Qualifications Minimum of two years of leadership experience in an upscale casual or fine dining restaurant. Strong understanding of elevated dining service standards, wine service, and guest engagement. Proven ability to lead a team while remaining actively involved in daily service. Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Ability to remain calm, composed, and solution-oriented in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail with exceptional follow-through. Working knowledge of restaurant POS systems and Google Workspace. Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
