Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Leader to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in restaurant management and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As a Shift Leader, you will oversee daily operations, manage staff, and ensure that our guests receive the highest quality dining experience. Duties Supervise and coordinate daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring efficient service and adherence to food safety standards. Train, mentor, and develop team members in food preparation, customer service, and operational procedures. Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels to ensure smooth operations. Handle cash transactions accurately and oversee the use of POS systems such as Brink POS. Assist with cooking and food production as needed while maintaining high standards of quality. Ensure compliance with health regulations and safety standards in all food handling processes. Provide leadership during shifts, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration. Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly to enhance guest satisfaction. Participate in budgeting processes and assist with financial reporting as required. Qualifications Proven experience in a quick service or fast food restaurant setting; fine dining experience is a plus. Strong knowledge of food service management principles, including food handling and safety protocols. Excellent leadership skills with experience in team management and staff training. Familiarity with inventory control processes and cash handling procedures. Background in culinary arts or kitchen management is highly desirable. Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence. Experience in hospitality management or restaurant management is preferred. Previous supervisory or assistant manager experience is beneficial.
