Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Restaurant Shift Leader to join our vibrant team! In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, smooth food preparation, and efficient team management. Your leadership will inspire staff, uphold food safety standards, and maintain a lively, welcoming atmosphere. The ideal candidate is passionate about the food industry, possesses strong supervisory experience, and thrives in a quick service or casual dining setting. Responsibilities Lead and motivate restaurant staff during your shift to deliver outstanding customer experiences Oversee food preparation and ensure adherence to quality standards and safety protocols Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling Control inventory levels, monitor food supplies, and assist with food production to minimize waste Supervise kitchen operations, ensuring efficient workflow and compliance with food safety regulations Train new team members on food handling, customer service, and restaurant procedures Handle customer inquiries or complaints promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels Support shift management by coordinating schedules, managing staff performance, and ensuring smooth operations Experience Proven experience in food service management within quick service or casual dining environments Supervising or team management experience in a restaurant setting is highly preferred Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for transaction processing Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management Knowledge of inventory control, budgeting, and food safety standards Experience with staff training, development, and interviewing candidates for restaurant roles Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams in a fast-paced environment Prior hospitality or hotel experience is a plus but not required Join us as a Restaurant Shift Leader to lead with energy, foster teamwork, and deliver memorable dining experiences!
