Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Kitchen Supervisor to lead our culinary team and ensure the smooth operation of our food service environment. In this role, you will oversee daily kitchen activities, manage food production and preparation, and uphold the highest standards of food safety and quality. Your leadership will inspire a team dedicated to delivering exceptional dining experiences, whether in a restaurant, catering, or hospitality setting. Duties Supervise and coordinate all aspects of food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and quality. Manage kitchen staff by assigning tasks, providing training, and fostering a positive team environment focused on efficiency and excellence. Oversee food safety protocols, hygiene standards, and proper handling procedures to comply with health regulations. Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock to minimize waste while maintaining sufficient ingredients for daily operations. Ensure timely delivery of orders and coordinate with front-of-house teams to meet customer expectations. Implement shift management strategies to optimize productivity during busy hours and special events such as banquets or catering functions. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in accordance with safety standards. Collaborate with management on menu planning, cost control, and quality improvements to enhance overall food service operations. Requirements Proven experience in food production, cooking, and food preparation within a restaurant or hospitality environment. Strong management skills with previous supervising or leadership experience in a kitchen or food service setting. Extensive knowledge of food safety regulations, handling practices, and hygiene standards. Familiarity with restaurant management systems, inventory control, and shift scheduling. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to address guest needs promptly and professionally. Culinary experience including catering, banquet service, or dietary department work is highly desirable. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail. Previous experience in hospitality management or restaurant operations is preferred.
