GENERAL JOB
DESCRIPTIONFairfield Glade is seeking an energetic, organized, and guest-focused Snack Bar Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Snack Bar outlets. This role is responsible for maintaining efficient service, ensuring food and beverage quality standards, leading staff, and delivering positive guest experience in a fast-paced casual dining environment.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a high-volume setting, values teamwork, and takes pride in providing excellent hospitality while maintaining operational efficiency. The Snack Bar Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Snack Bar, including staffing, customer service, inventory, cash handling, sanitation compliance, and overall outlet performance. This role ensures that guests receive quick, friendly, and consistent service while supporting the goals and standards of Stonehenge Grille.
DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIESOperations Management Oversee daily Snack Bar operations to ensure smooth and efficient service Ensure all opening, closing, and daily operational procedures are properly executed Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper presentation throughout the facility Monitor food and beverage quality standards and communicate with kitchen staff as needed Assist with seasonal business demands, tournaments, leagues, and club events Team Leadership & Development Recruit, train, supervise, and motivate Snack Bar employees Create staff schedules based on business volume and operational needs Foster a positive and team-oriented work environment Provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback to staff Ensure team members maintain professionalism and excellent guest service standards Guest Experience Deliver friendly, fast, and professional customer service Address guest concerns and resolve issues promptly and professionally Build positive relationships with members and guests Maintain a welcoming atmosphere that reflects the clubs hospitality standards Financial & Administrative Responsibilities Oversee cash handling, register balancing, and daily deposits Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering products and supplies Assist with payroll processing and labor management Track daily sales and operational performance Support cost-control initiatives and minimize waste Compliance & Safety Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health regulations Maintain safe working conditions for staff and guests Ensure all employees follow company policies and operational procedures
QUALIFICATIONS
Previous food and beverage or hospitality supervisory experience Strong customer service and communication skills Experience with POS systems and cash handling Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and peak seasonal periods Snack bar, caf, concession, or casual dining management experience preferred Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures Strong leadership and problem-solving skills ServSafe Certification or equivalent preferred Experience in golf course or club operations is a plus
KEY COMPETENCIES
Supervises daily snack bar operations. Ensures quality, consistency, and cleanliness standards are met. Trains and directs staff in food preparation, service, and sanitation. Handles customer concerns promptly and professionally. Monitors inventory, cash, and product usage. Maintains a calm, service-oriented approach during busy periods.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds when necessary Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments as needed Ability to work efficiently during busy service periods
