Summary:

Shift Leaders are trained to perform all the duties of Crew Members, with the added responsibility of directing daily operations in the absence of the General Manager (GM). This includes ensuring compliance with company standards in product preparation and delivery, customer relations, restaurant maintenance, team management, and other assigned duties.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead and Supervise:

Oversee daily operations in the GM's absence. This includes supervising and training employees, opening and closing the store, managing food preparation, handling employee breaks and shift changes, and completing shift summary reports.

Perform Crew Member Tasks:

Excel in all front-of-house (FOH), back-of-house (BOH), expo, and prep duties to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Maintain Service Standards:

Deliver fast, accurate service, maintain consistency with company product standards, and ensure an excellent customer experience.

Ensure Cleanliness and Accessibility:

Maintain restaurant cleanliness and ensure customer accessibility in line with company standards.

POS Management:

Accurately use the POS system and maintain control of company assets, including making accurate deposits.

Team Collaboration:

Work as a team player to support other employees in completing their tasks efficiently.

Motivate and Coach:

Motivate and coach Crew Members, assist in training new employees, and provide ongoing support and guidance.

Customer Service:

Provide friendly and prompt customer service, ensuring a positive dining experience for all guests.

Additional Duties:

Complete all other assigned duties necessary to support the restaurant's operations and success.

QUALIFICATIONS

Supervisory Experience:

Proven experience in a supervisory role within a food service setting. Ability to oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency and high standards of service.

POS Systems Proficiency:

Expertise in using POS systems, particularly Heartland. Capable of managing transactions, reporting, and resolving technical issues to maintain smooth operations.

Customer Service Skills:

Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on providing exceptional customer service. Ability to handle inquiries and resolve complaints effectively to ensure customer satisfaction.

Team Leadership:

Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team effectively.

Kitchen Management:
