Shift Supervisor Starbucks 2901 South Capital of Texas Highway, Austin, TX 78746 $16.25 an hour - Full-time $16.25 an hour - Full-time Lead by Example. Support Your Team. Deliver Exceptional Service. We are looking for an enthusiastic and dependable Shift Supervisor to support the General Manager in leading the daily operations of our Starbucks licensed store. This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for ensuring smooth shift operations, coaching team members, maintaining operational standards, and delivering an outstanding guest experience. Responsibilities Support the General Manager in the day-to-day operation of the store. Supervise and direct team members during assigned shifts. Lead by example by providing exceptional customer service and promoting a positive work environment. Ensure beverages and food products are prepared to Starbucks quality standards. Assist with opening and closing procedures. Delegate tasks and monitor workflow to ensure efficient operations. Coach and train team members on company policies, procedures, and customer service expectations. Assist with onboarding and training new employees. Monitor inventory levels and communicate product or supply needs to the General Manager. Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, cash handling, and company policies. Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Address routine customer concerns professionally and escalate issues to the General Manager when appropriate. Perform other duties as assigned. QualificationsRequired High school diploma or equivalent. Previous leadership experience in a restaurant, coffee shop, retail, or hospitality environment preferred. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to motivate and lead a team during assigned shifts. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds. Availability to work flexible shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Must be authorized to work in the United States. Preferred Previous Starbucks or specialty coffee experience. Cash handling and point-of-sale (POS) experience. Food Safety Certification (or the ability to obtain certification after hire).
