Support Your Team. Deliver Exceptional Service. We are looking for an enthusiastic and dependable Shift Supervisor to support the General Manager in leading the daily operations of our Starbucks licensed store. This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for ensuring smooth shift operations, coaching team members, maintaining operational standards, and delivering an outstanding guest experience. Responsibilities Support the General Manager in the day-to-day operation of the store. Supervise and direct team members during assigned shifts. Lead by example by providing exceptional customer service and promoting a positive work environment. Ensure beverages and food products are prepared according to Starbucks quality standards. Assist with opening and closing procedures. Delegate tasks and monitor workflow to ensure efficient operations. Coach and train team members on company policies, procedures, and customer service expectations. Assist with onboarding and training new employees. Monitor inventory levels and communicate product or supply needs to the General Manager. Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, cash handling, and company policies. Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Address routine customer concerns professionally and escalate issues to the General Manager when appropriate. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Required High school diploma or equivalent. Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a restaurant, coffee shop, retail, or hospitality environment preferred. Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating a positive guest experience. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate, coach, and support team members during assigned shifts. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions during daily operations. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds. Availability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Must be authorized to work in the United States. Preferred Previous Starbucks or specialty coffee experience. Experience operating a point-of-sale (POS) system and handling cash transactions. Food Safety Certification (or the ability to obtain certification upon hire). Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Required Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Required Experience:
Minimum of one year of experience in a retail or customer service environment. Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role is preferred.
Required Skills and Abilities:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members. Ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve operational goals. Proficient in problem-solving and conflict resolution. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Basic understanding of inventory management and cash handling procedures. Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
