Job SummaryWe are seeking an energetic and motivated Team Shift Lead to oversee daily operations within a fast-paced, quick service or casual dining environment. As a key leader on the floor, you will manage team members, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain smooth restaurant functions. Your leadership will inspire staff, uphold food safety standards, and drive operational excellence to deliver memorable dining experiences. DutiesLead and supervise team members during assigned shifts, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality service deliveryOversee food preparation and food handling processes to meet safety and quality standardsManage POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handlingCoordinate inventory control, monitor stock levels, and assist with food production and food management tasksTrain new staff members and provide ongoing coaching to enhance team skills in customer service, food safety, and restaurant operationsEnsure adherence to health regulations, sanitation procedures, and safety protocols across all areas of the restaurantSupport shift management responsibilities including scheduling, resolving customer concerns, and maintaining a positive work environmentSkillsProven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food service management within quick service or casual dining settingsStrong leadership skills with previous supervising or management experience in a restaurant environmentFamiliarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; capable of cash handling and transaction reconciliationExcellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellenceAbility to train staff effectively in food safety, food handling, and operational proceduresKnowledge of inventory control, budgeting, and food production processesExceptional communication skills with experience in interviewing, staff training & development, and team managementJoin us as a Team Shift Lead to energize your career in the vibrant world of hospitality!
