and is developing, arguably, the highest quality smokehouse in North America. We have two 1,000 gallon Texas smokers inside a brand new fully air-conditioned commercial kitchen. Construction should be completed within one week. We are bringing premium Texas BBQ to a 15-year established brewery, located in the heart of Tequesta, near the Jupiter Lighthouse. As our Pitmaster, you will be the heart and soul of our low & slow barbecue smoking operations. Though your primary role is to ensure quality meat production, from trimming to smoking, your role will also have an influence on menu & recipe creation and on marketing. This is an entrepreneurial role, and you will be responsible for building a team that strives for excellence and delivers high quality barbecue. Responsibilities
Production & Team Leadership:
As a hands-on leader, responsible for production of the highest quality barbeque. Lead, motivate, train and develop additional staff to foster a positive working environment and encourage excellence.- Food excellence: Select and prepare meats, including trimming, seasoning, and smoking Monitor all phases of meat preparation to ensure top quality and consistency Train and supervise barbecue production staff on proper BBQ techniques and safety protocols Collaborate & host BBQ events and promotions
Food Safety & Cleanliness:
Implement and maintain hygiene protocols and food safety standards. Maintain the ServSafe Manager certification and encourage food safety education and training among staff. Cleaning and ensure smokehouse remains in top condition.

Procurement & Inventory Management:
negotiate with vendors, control food costs to meet financial goals, manage inventory, and order replenishment.
