Job Description
Chuckwagon Bbq & Burgers in Katy, TX is looking for one front of house shift lead to join our 11 person strong team. We are located on 4031 Fm 1463 Rd Ste 50. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, punctual, and hard-working. Responsibilities Lead and manage front-of-house operations during assigned shifts Act as the point person when ownership/management is not on-site Ensure smooth service flow from order taking to food delivery Provide hands-on support during rushes (expo, register, running food, etc.) Deliver excellent customer service and resolve guest concerns quickly and professionally Train, coach, and hold FOH team members accountable to standards Enforce cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards in all FOH areas Monitor staff performance and adjust positioning during shifts for efficiency Maintain stocked stations (sauces, drinks, supplies, to-go items, etc.) Communicate clearly with kitchen to ensure ticket accuracy and timing Assist with scheduling coverage and handling call-outs when needed Uphold company culture, energy, and hospitality standards every shift Qualifications Restaurant experience required (FOH preferred) Leadership or shift lead experience is a plus Strong customer service and problem-solving skills Able to stay calm and lead during busy shifts Reliable, on time, and takes initiative Good communication with team and kitchen Comfortable with cash handling and basic math Flexible schedule (nights & weekends) Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25-50 lbs We are looking forward to reading your application.
