As a key player on the floor, you'll oversee shift activities, ensure quality standards are met, and motivate staff to perform at their best. Responsibilities Lead and supervise restaurant staff during your shift, ensuring excellent customer service and adherence to company standards Oversee food preparation and food handling processes to maintain safety and quality standards Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and transaction accuracy Monitor inventory control to ensure proper stock levels and minimize waste Assist in food production, cooking, and kitchen management to support seamless operations in a fast-paced environment Train new team members on food service procedures, safety protocols, and customer engagement techniques Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to guarantee a positive dining experience Support management with shift planning, budgeting tasks, and staff scheduling to optimize restaurant performance Skills Proven experience in food service management within quick service & fast food or casual dining restaurants Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management with culinary experience preferred Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing Excellent staff training, supervising, and team management skills with a focus on leadership development Knowledge of food safety regulations, food handling procedures, and health standards Ability to manage inventory control, budgeting, and cost-effective food production strategies Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly approach to guest interactions Experience in restaurant management roles including shift management, supervising staff, and operational oversight Prior hospitality or hotel experience is a plus; barista or coffee experience is advantageous Strong communication skills with the ability to interview, train, develop staff, and foster a positive team environment Join us as a Restaurant Shift Leader where your energy fuels our success!
