Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Floor Manager to join our team. As a Shift Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant. You will be responsible for ensuring excellent customer service, managing the staff, and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety. - Supervise and coordinate the activities of restaurant staff during assigned shifts
- Ensure that all employees adhere to company policies and procedures
- Train new employees on job duties, customer service, and safety protocols
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed
- Oversee food preparation and presentation to ensure quality standards are met
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Collaborate with management to develop strategies for improving restaurant performance
- Conduct regular performance evaluations for staff members Qualifications
- Previous experience in a supervisory or management role in the restaurant industry
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures
- Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Skills:
- Demonstrated ability in team management and supervision
- Knowledge of restaurant operations and industry trends
- Proficient in inventory control procedures
- Familiarity with banquet operations is desirable
- Strong understanding of food preparation techniques
