Job Description
Job Summary The Crew Leader supports bakery operations by leading the team in delivering a warm, welcoming guest experience and consistently high‑quality products. This role oversees daily tasks, maintains brand standards, and ensures smooth workflow during shifts. The Crew Leader acts as the point person between team members and management and guests, helping drive efficiency, positivity, and exceptional service. Responsibilities Shift Leadership — Guide team members through daily operations, assign tasks, and maintain a productive, upbeat work environment. Guest Experience — Greet guests warmly, assist with orders, resolve concerns, and ensure every interaction reflects the Nothing Bundt Cakes brand. Product Quality — Oversee frosting, baking, and packaging standards to ensure all cakes meet presentation and quality expectations. Training & Coaching — Support onboarding of new team members, provide ongoing coaching, and model best practices. Inventory & Stocking — Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies, and communicate needs to management. Safety & Cleanliness — Maintain a clean, organized bakery and ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation guidelines. Cash Handling — Operate the POS system, manage cash drawers, and follow proper transaction procedures. Team Communication — Relay updates, priorities, and expectations between team members and management. Skills Customer Service Experience — Prior experience in retail, food service, or hospitality preferred. Leadership Skills — Ability to motivate and guide a team with positivity and professionalism. Time Management — Capable of balancing multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment. Attention to Detail — Commitment to maintaining high standards in product presentation and cleanliness. Physical Requirements — Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks.
