The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a solid background in food preparation and management, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role is vital in ensuring smooth shift execution, maintaining high standards of food safety and quality, and fostering a positive team atmosphere. Previous experience in restaurant management, hospitality, or food industry settings such as casual dining, fine dining, catering, or hotel food services is highly valued. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant operations during assigned shifts to ensure efficiency and excellent customer experience. Lead and motivate staff through effective training, coaching, and development initiatives. Oversee food preparation, ensuring adherence to safety standards and quality control protocols. Manage POS systems including
BRINKS POS
for order processing, cash handling, and transaction accuracy. Monitor inventory levels, assist with stock control, and coordinate with suppliers for timely replenishment. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards across all areas of operation. Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. Assist with staffing schedules, interviewing potential team members, and supporting staff training programs. Manage shift responsibilities such as opening/closing procedures, cash reconciliation, and ensuring operational readiness. Support kitchen management tasks including food production oversight and coordination with culinary staff. Uphold hospitality standards by creating a welcoming environment for guests and team members alike. Qualifications Proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles within the food service industry; prior experience in casual dining, fine dining, catering, or hotel food services is preferred. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, food safety practices, and kitchen management. Familiarity with POS systems such as
BRINKS POS
; cash handling experience required. Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in staff training, team management, and supervising diverse teams. Excellent communication skills with the ability to interview candidates effectively and foster a collaborative work environment. Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of inventory control processes and budgeting principles is advantageous. Hospitality management background including customer service excellence and food handling expertise is desirable.
