Server-Barista Job Description:

As a Server-Barista at Junction, you must be friendly, outgoing, and possess clear communication skills. Our guest experience, whether sitting at the bar or at a table, should be equally enjoyable and approached with the mindset of providing the same level of service you would wish to receive if you were the patron. We think it is important you understand that YOU play a MAJOR role in the overall picture of the guest experience. We are looking for high energy individuals with exceptional attitudes who wish to be a part of our team. As a Server-Barista, you will be employed in the hybrid role of being a server, and a barista. This entails accurately taking food, beverage, coffee, and alcohol orders, along with preparing coffee drinks such as lattes, cappuccinos, espresso shots, and other coffee items.

Major Responsibilities:

Promptly greet guest Accurately take guest orders at counter Ensure transaction completeness Promptly deliver hot food to proper tables Communicate and attend to our guests in a timely manner. Work with management and others to keep the restaurant clean to set expectations/ standards.

Walking and standing during scheduled shift

Continuous:

reaching, bending, lifting, and carrying. Must be of legal age to serve liquor per state law

Knowledge and Skills:

Basic reading skills Basic computer skills/ POS handling Have a clear understanding of menu items (food, beverage, coffee, and pastries) Strong communication skills Understand food and beverage specifications
