Starting at $25/hour + tips Typical earnings range from $30-35/hour including tips We are seeking a highly motivated Team Lead to help lead the launch and growth of our brand-new Scoop N Scootery location in Arlington, Virginia. This is not a desk job. We are looking for a hands-on leader who can manage people, maintain standards, drive performance, and help create an exceptional customer experience every single night. As Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading our team, maintaining operational excellence, and ensuring every guest receives the high-quality experience that has made The Scoop N Scootery one of the fastest-growing dessert brands in the country. This is your opportunity to join a growing company at the ground level and play a major role in building a successful location from day one. Growth Opportunity We are not looking for someone to simply manage a single store. The Scoop N Scootery has committed to opening multiple Northern Virginia locations, and we are looking for leaders who want to grow with the brand. High-performing Store Managers will have the opportunity to advance into an Area Manager role within approximately 3 years , overseeing 3+ locations , leading management teams, supporting new store openings, and helping shape the future of the brand in the region. About Us The Scoop N Scootery started as a local ice cream sundae shop and delivery restaurant in the greater Boston area and has grown into a rapidly expanding franchise brand known for over-the-top sundaes, late-night service, and an energetic culture. We are opening our first Northern Virginia location and are looking for leaders who thrive in fast-paced environments, enjoy building teams, and take pride in creating memorable customer experiences. Responsibilities Lead, coach, and develop team members Manage daily store operations and shift execution Hire, train, and onboard new employees Create and manage employee schedules Ensure all sundaes and products meet brand standards Maintain a clean, organized, and inspection-ready store Manage inventory levels and communicate supply needs Handle customer concerns professionally and effectively Monitor team performance and maintain accountability Open and close the store according to company standards Maintain a positive, energetic, and accountable team culture Work alongside the team during peak business hours Ensure speed, accuracy, and quality during high-volume periods Support ownership in achieving sales and operational goals Qualifications Leadership or management experience preferred Restaurant, food service, retail, or hospitality management experience is a plus Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to lead by example and motivate a team Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Ability to multitask under pressure Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks Reliable transportation Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and shifts ending as late as 2:00 AM What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is dependable, energetic, competitive, and takes ownership of their work.
