Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate all kitchen activities, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure high standards of quality and consistency Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste to optimize food costs Oversee food safety protocols and sanitation procedures in compliance with health regulations to guarantee a safe dining experience Lead and motivate kitchen staff through effective team management, shift scheduling, and performance feedback Plan menus in collaboration with culinary staff, incorporating dietary requirements and catering needs for diverse events such as banquets and fine dining occasions Ensure smooth shift operations by coordinating between front-of-house and back-of-house teams for seamless service delivery Maintain a clean, organized kitchen environment that adheres to safety standards while fostering a positive work atmosphere Requirements Proven experience in food production, kitchen management, or restaurant supervision with a focus on fine dining or catering environments Demonstrated supervisory experience leading culinary teams in high-volume settings such as banquet halls or hospitality venues Strong background in food handling, safety practices, and inventory management within the food industry Extensive knowledge of menu planning, food preparation techniques, and catering operations Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage shift operations effectively Familiarity with dietary department procedures and accommodating special dietary needs Experience in managing kitchen inventory control systems and overseeing food service management processes Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and high standards of quality Join us as a Kitchen Supervisor where your culinary passion meets leadership excellence!
